Attractions

Built as a tavern by Benjamin Overfield between 1803-1808, this log constructed building houses period room settings that display early American culture as it existed on the frontier, west of the Allegheny.
As a historical landmark, the Museum has been meticulously restored to reflect life circa the mid to late 1820s. It now contains a rare collection of early 19th-century furniture, household items, and artifacts.
